CORE 102A

Dual 10" Active Line Array Module

The CORE 102A is a dual 10”, two way, full range, active line array module. The CORE 102A features a two channel, 1600W, Class D amplifier that is specifically designed to power its corresponding passive cabinets, the CORE 102P, but can be used in a full active line array setup if required or preferred. The CORE 102A also features the latest digital signal processor and the NUCLEUS FIR loudspeaker management software.

Though compact in size, the CORE 102A is a full-bandwidth system and may be used without subwoofers in many applications. Where additional low frequency extension is required, the CORE 102A can be complemented by and is directly compatible with the CORE 10218SA (Active 18" Subwoofer) and CORE 10218SP (Passive 18" Subwoofer).

COMPACT TOUR SOUND

The CORE102 is a high power ready to use touring system equipped with a high efficiency digital amplifier that delivers superior SPL reducing energy requirement. The integrated processing, active to passive design and the cabling reduction will make the set-up faster, easier, lighter, and cost efficient. Its compact size also redices the truck space requirement to a minimum.

PRECISION DRIVERS.

The CORE 102A is a 2-way system that combines line array principles with innovative horn loading techniques to produce a very powerful compact line array with impressive dynamic impact. The low frequency section of the CORE 102A is comprised of two 10" / 2.5" voice coil Neodymium drivers. The HF section is comprised of one 1.4" throat, 3" voice coil Neodymium horn elements to produce a low-curvature vertical wave front with an efficiency of 109dB at 1m for a 1W input. This optimal HF curvature enables the cabinets enclosures within the array to be splayed up to 8° without introducing gaps in the HF vertical coverage.

POWERFUL DIGITAL AMP

Sound Barrieri's Class-D power amplifier technology packs huge performance operating with high efficiency into a lightweight solution. CORE102A amplifiers deliver a ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and impressive audio performance. More than enough to power the CORE 102A and an additional CORE102P. The amplifier is constructed with a solid machined aluminium structure which not only stabilises the amplifier during ransportation but also assists in heat dissipation. To ensure the integrity of the amplifier components in high temperature settings, addtional cooling fans have been integrated into the design.

Every CORE active unit functions with the Nucleus FIR loudspeaker management software providing all of the features and flexibility required to drive and align the CORE series sound reinforcement systems. Incorporating traditional IIR X-over and parametric EQ functions in conjunction with revolutionary FIR modes, Nucleus FIR is one of the most flexible, advanced yet user friendly loudspeaker management software in the world.
